Please give us the Ancients' Mask

As the title suggests, I want the mask typically worn by the Ancients to be added into the game. So many NPCs wear it at this point, and I wanna too. (No, the Shadowless/Ktisis ones are not the same, nor are they available for all jobs) As for how you would obtain this hat item, simply have it tied to the rest of the sophist set, and if you've already passed that quest, you can buy it from a salvager.

As for the mask already on the robe, they could offer a maskless-version as a seperate item (which is also already a thing worn by NPCs) or if it is somehow possible, add /visor functionality to the robe to remove it so that you're not wearing the mask on both your face and chest.

Let me wear the Ancients' mask SE!

i'm honestly shocked they didn't add it to the online store or something. it seems trivial as the model already exists. they already milk the hell out of us to look like any other NPC so it'd be on brand.

I definitely want the maskless version of the robe, and also a maskless version of Lahabrea's robe with the high-collared shirt underneath it.

If I had to hazard a guess the reason why the Sophist Robe doesn't allow the hood/mask to be worn up is once again due to problems getting it to 'fit' on hrothgar faces which of course are not human shaped at all (remember, the mask is designed for a human face, not a lion's). So to avoid such issues they wrote it into the story that visitors to Elpis had to take their masks off and hoods down, which is why the Sophist set is like that by default.

I still definetely support this though - maybe even have the possibility of getting Azem's mask, even if it's just a replica.

Not a problem, just don't give it to hrothgar, its not like they get hats normally anyway.
