I'm going to try and not get too excited by these pics though it's not easily done. They do look very good but the crucial bit will be the content. Content will make or break the game. I'm trusting that the current dev team won't let us down and that it will be every bit as good as the visuals, but it is still a niggling little concern. Doesn't matter how pretty the game looks if its just background while you afk with nothing to do.

If they fix the clunkiness of the UI, which they seemingly did. Change a bit of the dynamics in terms of drop rates, and loot rules, which they partially did. And in the end, raise the level cap. From a new players perspective, to say there's not enough content is a joke, and a very laughable one at that. Honestly the game is shaping up to live up to it's expectations. But I think a defining moment will be the route they choose to take in terms of end-game content, as we already sort-of know what to expect from the journey.

Well yes but Typhon did appear in FFVII on his own so nothing is sure yet.
Besides Typhon looks rather small so he could end up being a summon again alongside Cait Sith.
