I do have to admit that the game looks more.. cartoonish.... anyone?

Thats the new lighting engine, and the ui. I think it looks fantastic tho, some low res textures for the foliage and needs more AA but all in all I am really impressed and I wasn't expecting such a change.

Agreed. The screenshots make the game look freaking amazing. And I am excited to start playing again. However without seeing/hearing gameplay changes I'm not going to mess my pants. Yet.

I think a lot of you gonna disappointed in content cause i don't think there will be much cause 2.0 is catering for new players and for most them everything is gonna be new. They have a few new contents planed but most of it seems to be old stuff we have now also.

I'll be rerolling another character at 2.0 just to get that new player feel! It should be pretty fun~!

Also regarding Cure II... I think it's entirely possible that we'll be able to rename spells and abilities in 2.0 or it's simply there as a reference.
Aerith casting Cure II is clearly NOT a coincidence.
