Island sanctuary weather

Does anyone else start to have a problem with the incessant rain in IS? I start to feel depressed when I go in there, it almost seems like 60-70% heavy rain all the time.

I honestly haven't had all that much rain to be honest, mostly fair skies and clouds. Maybe you keep getting unlucky and coming in at a bad time?

Yeah, it's been raining quite a bit on mine, I don't mind though since that means I don't have to water my crops as often lol. I attribute it to it being a tropical island, but yeah I also wouldn't complain if they cycle through the weather rotation more often.

It is a tropical island, bright showers and torrential downpours are the standard weather.

But your right, it shouldn't seem DARK when they happen, somebody did mess up a little.

I have the opposite issue, no rain whatsoever on my island, like cmon! Im waiting on it to catch some animals!

I love rain personally, what's more I would like additional weathers like everything we have in-game but not limited to them, I would also like hurricanes and hailstorms.


I hope we also get snow during the winter season, can you imagine the whole island covered in snow?. That would be beautiful.


Mr. Yoshida should try to add seasons in game, the same way Forza Horizon games do it but synchronized to the real world's season according to each player's region so we would see colored leaves during fall and snow during winter, etc., etc..

I've been getting a lot too lately it seems. I mean it's pseudo accurate I guess, if you've spent any time in the tropics it rains ALOT at certain times of the year. The weather IG in general is a little off imo though. My house is in the Goblet, in the desert...and it's always raining there too lol.

I like it when it rains personally I don't know why but I like to protect myself from the rain and watch it fall outside it's quite relaxing unfortunately I'm not as lucky as you OP
