Casuals getting put in Ranked CC matches.

Pretty antithetical to the entire point of "ranked". People who are playing casual take it less serious than those who choose ranked.

You have to win 3 (or 4?) games to reach Bronze 3 in order to have a rank displayed. They are queueing for ranked, it's just one of their very first games.

Welcome to the beginning of the season.
If you haven't heard everyone's rank was reset to Bronze 3. Games will look like this for a minute, because majority are starting to climbing. So give it about another week for folks to climb, especially if you're in gold.

One thing I will agree with is the matchmaking being weird. I was being thrown into diamond rooms while I was gold rank last season. I would like to know if matching between 3 ranks is intentional.

fun fact, you will be matched with casuals regardless because people who belong in the non ranked mode will deliberately play ranked instead because its worth more their time

Yeah, that's an unranked player, someone that's very new and that has not reached Bronze yet.

Depends on your definition of casual, but it's not someone who queued "Casual game" and ended up in a Ranked match lol.

I'm not sure I agree that Unranked players should be in the same games as Gold players.

I prefer the old matchmaking system :

Unranked-Bronze-Silver could play together
Silver and Gold could play together, but Gold couldn't play with Bronze or Unranked

Having Gold with Unranked players in the same match seems a bit much...

Not having to deal with people win trading for 3 entire tiers xD (since you can play with unranked, its possible to get matches with ppl throwing on purpose all the way until plat)

The old Feast system, which had both demotion and matchmaking rules based purely on your rank.

This new CC system just has limited demotion and matchmaking that is wild AF. Not worthy of much praise.
