People who say "first time" in new content

some people in this game get incredibly upset if things don't go well in a dungeon or people don't do mechanics. THe sprout icon usually handles it but when you're not a sprout people feel the need to preface it in case someone is going to rage at them for getting a mechanic wrong.
It happens a lot more than you think where there's a wipe, and insults start getting flung around.

So I've run a lot of the new normal raid and trial. I'm mostly looking for the TT card. There's always someone new, which is to be expected. The way I usually see things is that we just pull and let it be trial by fire. More often than not, we still clear it first time. When we wipe, 9 times of 10, it is just a matter of explaining 1 mechanic and then we clear. If someone doesn't say "first time," I almost always expect some other "veteran" to complain that we wiped. People tend to be a little more understanding when there's a player new to the content.

Because not everyone does the content the very minute it comes out and a week later you will have a mix of people who have done it 20 times or not at all and letting others know that you are unaware of any mechanics is just common courtesy

To lower people's expectations and to perhaps strike conversation or maybe someone would give a tip, or just banter of 'oh turn up the volume' etc etc
And probably alert healers. I like seeing that cause normally I sometimes don't pay attention to who exactly is watching a cutscene but if they say so I try to make sure to pay more attention/keep an eye out for them.

So perhaps it's not all that obvious?

As a heal main, I always announce if I haven't been to an instance before. If I die to a mechanic early enough on an unknown boss, there's a good chance of a wipe so I welcome any tips prior and it helps to establish that I might not know what to do. Stack markers with rocks anyone? I quit the the game for months at a time quite often so I often come into instances without muscle memory of old mechanics indicators as well.

Why? What compels you to say something so obvious? I genuinely don't understand.

I sincerely apologize for assuming people would be new to the newly added content in 6.2, I did not know it was wrong to think this way.

Please go outside and touch some grass if THIS is something you felt you needed to come online and type words to complain about. In the face of all the things in the universe and in FFXIV that you could otherwise spend constructive time discussing, this is so infinitesimally insignificant, I can't even fathom why you're here to bleat about it other than you have no other life outside of trolling these forums and seeing your icon on them.

Please. Go take a walk. You need some reality in your life. There's trees and stuff out there you might enjoy more than the fact that people are annoying you because they type, "First time," in new content for them (because not EVERYONE did the the very day it came out). Maybe you'll see a cat or a dog you can pet. They boost serotonin levels in case you didn't know. I think you could use that.
