Not gonna lie, if my team keeps dying and i cant carry them to victory.... i just wait for match to end and harass a enemy or try to, nothing i can do at that point after all.

they don't have anybody that is actually a dedicated PVP designer, its just cobbled together.

The losing team doesn't get an advantage.
There are two reasons why the crystal moves faster in some circumstances:
1. The team pushing it in the opponent's half of the field.
2. The team has reclaimed the crystal after the opponent pushed it back some distance, and is moving along this stretch for the second time.
Basically, each team pushes out the boundaries of the zone in which the crystal will move faster, but it's fair for both teams within that zone.
If Team A gets the crystal to the 50% checkpoint and Team B gets control, it will move faster for Team B because of reason 1. But at the same time if Team A gets it back again, it will also move faster for them because of reason 2, until they get it back to the furthest point they reached earlier.
If you are ahead 91.5% to 0% and wipe to the enemy team, then wipe to them again multiple times while they push the payload from 0% to 91.6%, you deserve to lose.
ShinyChariot is powerful.
"So we were leading 4:0 and it's like 80 minutes on the clock. Of course we've already won and our goalie and half the team just went for a quick smoke. Imagine the other team just going and scoring 5 goals in those last 10 minutes?! Preposterous! Whoever designed football rules must be fired!!11!!"
Interesting. Personally I haven't noticed that since I'm too busy going shrimp mode. Kinda don't like the crystal moving faster for either team since I feel like overtime is enough to try and swing the match. Thanks for the insight though c:The losing team doesn't get an advantage.

People would give up constantly without Overtime working the way it does. If you can't push them off the point, then you didn't deserve the win. Same rules for everyone.
