We just got new gear in 6.1 and will most likely get new gear in 6.3

DoH/DoL got new scrips gear.
Which is oviously useless to people with pentamelded crafted gear from the very rpevious patch, but very useful to casuals.

You should really learn this game's patch cycle, cause it's always the same really, as to what we get when.

The next crafter gear update is probably in 6.3. And it will be the gear you take into the next expansion. Last expansion, crafters wore the same accessories from 5.0 to 5.3 when the Aesthete set came out. And that's what I would expect this time.

The Pactmaker's set came out before we even needed it. Technically, we only needed that gear when 6.2 came out. In expansions past (not ShB though), sometimes the new crafted DoW/M gear came out as the same time as the new DoH/DoL gear. Which made for a very interesting first few days of the patch when gatherers could mostly gather NQ ingredients since they needed the updated DoL gear from crafters. And crafters were waiting on the gatherers. And DoW/M were waiting on crafters to gear up so they could get gear.

Then you should know that crafters weren't shortchanged. You can't have it both ways

That's kinda irrelevant. You could for as much as we know be new to crafting in the game. You could register your profile and never used the forum before etc. Looking at your post history, you're not a very active poster so it's not far fetched for people to assume you, indeed are not familiar with it.
The join date is kinda bleh, to begin with. Mine says 2018 but I'm a 1.0 player.
