You said crafters were shortchanged. Meaning that they didn't get their fair share. Which I would view as a complaint.

You did get things with this patch. It's just certain patches only have content for some aspects of the game. And that's not a bad thing.

DoH/DoL got new scrips gear.
Which is oviously useless to people with pentamelded crafted gear from the very rpevious patch, but very useful to casuals.

You should really learn this game's patch cycle, cause it's always the same really, as to what we get when.

The next crafter gear update is probably in 6.3. And it will be the gear you take into the next expansion. Last expansion, crafters wore the same accessories from 5.0 to 5.3 when the Aesthete set came out. And that's what I would expect this time.

The Pactmaker's set came out before we even needed it. Technically, we only needed that gear when 6.2 came out. In expansions past (not ShB though), sometimes the new crafted DoW/M gear came out as the same time as the new DoH/DoL gear. Which made for a very interesting first few days of the patch when gatherers could mostly gather NQ ingredients since they needed the updated DoL gear from crafters. And crafters were waiting on the gatherers. And DoW/M were waiting on crafters to gear up so they could get gear.

Well, 6.3 is likely to fall around then, so you can see those presents under that tree when it's time.

Crafters and gatherers get new gear in odd-numbered patches. This is an even-numbered patch. Right now you're looking for Christmas gifts under the Thanksgiving turkey.

The less updates the better, so we don't have to keep blowing materia on pentamelds.

(I think this is more about having component crafts contained to a single macro )

OR, we could keep making people update their gear since they made crafting stupid easy for the entire playerbase and gave levels away with Firmament turn ins.
