Furthermore, you realize that to people with compulsive disorder, EVERY small unobtainable item is a reason to quit the game and a near endless fight against ourselves to not quit the game? It's not that we don't enjoy the game, but our mind tells us "oh, you can't get this thing you might want someday if not now anyway, why bother playing at all?".

I really wish game developers would be a little more considerate.

P.S.: Find a way we can collect every item/weapon while you're at it. There's got to be a storage-saving way to do it and you made so many amazing weapons that it's really difficult to decide which ones to keep around.
