I am having the same problem on PC. When i beckon him he runs towards me then goes back to the back part of the pasture

Almost the same, but with the yellow chocobo.

my black chocobo did this...decided to wander out to where area 3 will be...i had to beckon and quick feed him to try to get him back.

some people said that you can "hard reload" by leaving and coming back, but...i just gave in and built pasture 3 after 3 days of this.

Encountered the exact same issue with my Island Doe.

I attempted to Beckon to it, but it kept running a few yalms and then running right back again.

I logged out, and logged back in, and that resolved the issue.
