I'm not a WF or week 1 clear group raider. However, as someone who does raid week 1, I would like to offer my feedback from that point of view.

I enjoyed being able to not feel rushed to hurry through the story and normal mode just to get to savage. It was nice to just take my day on day / week 1, enjoy the MSQ and other aspects of the new patch at my own pace. Does that mean I blew through it and consumed it all? No where close. But I didn't feel like I had to put everything on the back burner to get ready for raid.

I like that for our group, we can spend some time this week to work on our strategy for the fight and not have to rush to get the crafted gear, wait on BiS, etc. As an onicrafter, I didn't have to rush and spend the day gathering / crafting not early gear, but food and pots.

Overall, I liken it to exactly like the first tier is after an expansion is released. There is some potential adjustments to jobs based on changes, and this week allows players to play with new changes in a more relaxed manner. I would highly recommend going with the approach for future tiers.
