    To note; paladin isn't a more tanky tank, and its support options do not in any way come close to outweighing the amount of suck that has infested it in this expansion. Its damage blows, its personal mitigation is behind that of other tanks, the bulk of its healing requires it to sacrifice what little DPS it has, and one of its "better" tools requires it to either stand there and channel or do a quick pulse and hope the lingering buff is sufficient. Then on top of that it's got a barrier it can't even benefit from, the most cursed opener of any job in the game, and an amount of rotation drift that makes many diehard paladins want to suck start a shotgun.

    Oh, right, and let's not forget all the atonement jank. Because that definitely helps it.

    PLD is very clunky. Expect a full rework come 7.0

    Having different openers isnt a bad thing. It just makes it much easier for a player to mess up. That and being the lowest damaging tank is a combo for disaster.

    Having different openers for different situations is fine, but those openers shouldn't be cursed. And right now? Yeah, some of PLD's openers are rather unpleasant.

    Well It's been cleared with Warrior/Paladin (so its possible even if it makes it harder for the group) So it's generally your group not wanting it, which I totally understand I'm not saying they're wrong. I'm not saying groups that don't want tanks that are underperforming heavily are in the wrong, It's still not griefing to play a job if your group would be fine with it, I'm well aware that most groups don't personally want a warrior or a Paladin, it should be up to those groups, Griefing needs general intent behind it, I fully understand that bringing a warrior Paladin wouldn't be in 99% (prolly 100% lol) groups best interest, but some groups might be fine with bringing one and that's fine, maybe im just disagreeing with more the use of your term gierfing, makes it sound like people are purposely playing paladin or warrior to annoy their raid team in malicious manner.

    It's not ideal to not allow certain jobs it sucks for people wanting to Week one clear on a job they enjoy, but I'm not blaming raiders here it's more I think a problem with warriors current potency and plds general jank and weak potency combined, The lack of testing certain jobs before a new savage tier, leads to issues like this happening. It's awful honestly It feels really sad that players can't or have to make their group work around them just to clear week 1. It feels like they didn't test Warrior nor Paladin for this new tier, maybe they thought the potency buffs would be enough idk, I do understand that its hard to balance so many jobs at the end of the day but it does seem like by now paladin/warrior should have caught up with all the patches and changes from 6.0
