6.2 was extra frustrating for me as someone who waited to come back hoping that anything would be said about Samurai's 6.1 decisions, only to come back to find that everything has been ignored.
They even fixed bloat for Astro, despite it being stated for a "rework". Nvm Dragoon's feedback being acknowledged as well, it just feels so neglectful towards Samurai.
They couldn't spare anything for Samurai? We have similar issues to Minor Arcana / Crown Play (formerly) being seperate buttons, why can't they do the same for Samurai when it was called for?
Or anything for that matter? It's not too much to ask when other jobs receive these changes for problems they ALSO introduced in Endwalker.
Like holy fuck the solution exists, other jobs have fixed these problems (Dancer's Tillana from Technical Step can be directly compared to the Ikishoten / Ogi Namikiri issue, one of MANY I've listed with solutions found in OTHER jobs)
If they even maybe just communicated sorry we're really busy with the reworks for Dragoon and Astro, or any measure of transparency, 6.2 wouldn't feel like such a slap in the face.
We're still worse off from 6.0, where we were given a good idea for how Samurai was going to play, and now 2 patch cycles in we have no word on any sort of future (don't worry this will replace kaiten, they say 5 patches later), any communication, or at least a fucking roadmap of some kind.
Seriously what the fuck? I'm irritated at how amateur the direction of Samurai has been with 6.1, everything has been handled so poorly EVEN IF Kaiten was too restrictive to design / balancing which were NOT the stated reasons.
Sorry, this is a lot of pent up feelings since I took a break hoping 6.2 would provide some sort of answer or remedy
Nvm my only course of action is to quit the job hoping that will at least alert the devs to what these changes did (they absolutely didn't bring in new players).
