I'm on a PS5. My friends are on PC. We got and tried the fieldcrackers last night and discovered the problem. If I use the fieldcracker by myself, solo, I can see the full animation. It's a reskin of the heavenscracker. Everything works correctly. However, my friends, who are not in party, cannot see the fieldcracker at all. They see my body go through the same motions as the heavenscracker, but they do not see the fieldcracker go off. When they join me in party and I use the fieldcracker, they can see and hear it.

We swapped roles to test it further. I gave my fieldcrackers to my friend. They used one in front of me, solo, and I saw their body go through the motions but I could not see the visual effects nor hear the sound effects. When we joined up in party together, I could see and hear the fieldcracker fully.

Devs, please fix the fieldcrackers! They should function like heavenscrackers, etc., I'm assuming, otherwise there's not much point in buying them at the Island Sanctuary or on the marketboard (IMO). Every other firework works in and out of party (e.g. tracers, heart bubbles, bubbles, etc.)

I've had the same bug, attempted to show off the firecracker to two friends who weren't in party, they could see my character play the animation, but not the visual effect of the cracker, whereas I could see it. We checked with other fireworks to make sure it wasn't an issue with effects turned off, and it wasn't. They were able to see all other fireworks.

I wasn't able to see my friend's, but once I had turned all effects on I could see it as normal.

They probably have Character Configuration > Control Settings > Character > Battle Effects Settings > Others (excl. PvP) set to Show None.

It's not a Battle Effect. You can set everything to Show None and the heavenscracker will still show, but fieldcracker will not (even under "Own"). The fieldcracker is coded improperly as a battle effect and bugged.
