Unreal Trials are EX level difficulty. They were always supposed to be. The design concept behind them is supposed to upgraded versions of the original Ex fights tuned to max level. It's literally the first week of the patch. Keep progging and keep up the practice, in no time you will get it. Some savage/extreme fights are not even that hard too bro.
It's like people have forgotten why we have Unreal to begin with!

Why didn't we have Garuda Unreal or Ifrit Unreal?

It's because they're specifically bringing back the "old hits". As in, the fights notorious for being hard even though they were EX trials. Padudu and Vrankyl are right, they're the same as before, just upscaled. They're just not the easy peasy crap that the devs sometimes add, they're the real EX trials that forced people to watch a guide and understand mechanics.

It's the quintessential way the devs have of telling anyone getting into EX difficulty content to Get Good.
