I did seph ex 70+ times when it was current for the birb mount.
Never. Again.
I'll wait until they do another ex for unreal, I'm skipping this one.

Can we just let this thread die, it’s obvious the OP is not interested in any of the literal hundreds of arguments we have provided as to why there is nothing wrong with unreal they just have the wrong idea of what unreal is
1) we all want more midcore content (even though it always ends up getting nerfed)
2) unreal is not midcore content
3) just because ultima was easy doesn’t mean all unreals should be or will be
4) MINE or EX4 are options but OP doesn’t want to do stuff that gives them things they don’t like
That could condense the thread down to its constituent parts, can we just leave it there
0.6 baby. LET'S GO!
cleared it and got fox WHOOO.
and now for the retelling
Be happy they have not gotten the idea to do a Unreal version of Living liquid.![]()

I'm going to assume you never did EX during 2.0 & 3.0.
Unreal, as far as I recall was supposed to be a "faithful' recreation of the original fight just tuned to current maximum level.
If he's doing a number on groups then it's indeed a faithful recreation.
If it's too hard and you don't have fun I'd advise you to run normal content, if you find that to be too dull then maybe try the 4.0 and/or 5.0 ex with minimum ilvl enabled so you still have to pay attention to mechanics. Those ex are easier then the 3.0 are.
Letter from the Producer LIVE Part IX Q&A Summary (10/30/2013)
Q: Will there be any maintenance fees or other costs for housing, besides the cost of the land and house?
A: In older MMOs, such as Ultima Online, there was a house maintenance fee you had to pay weekly, but in FFXIV: ARR we decided against this system. Similarly, these older MMOs also had a system where your house would break down if you didn’t log in after a while in order to have you continue your subscription, but this is a thing of the past and we won't have any system like that.
