JUST missed out on the Archfiend set. Is it or will it be attainable any other way?

I've hear a few people say that "they said" it would be attainable somehow, but can't seem to find any more information? I spent this past weekend grinding out my PvP Series rank, not realizing the servers went offline early Monday evening (my own fault). I figured I was about 1-2 hours away from having gotten it, so when the servers went offline, I was definitely bummed.

But like I said, I've read some people say it's supposed to be attainable some other way, I think with trophy crystals? Or maybe that's just speculation?

Anyone happened to know anything more about that? Or did I just completely miss out?

YoshiP said when they first introduced the Series malmstone stuff that things like the Archfiend coffer and similar rewards will be purchase-able with crystal trophies. However what was unclear was at which point down the line these kinds of milestone rewards would be made available for purchase. The 6.2 patch notes (unless i'm misunderstanding the situation) mentions an NPC that will handle purchasing Series 1 stuff but players have reported there not being an NPC where the patch notes say there should be. But it's probably a bug of some sort if the patch notes say a NPC should be there (The clothcraft glamour prism is also bugged as it asks for a botanist growth formula* and not a clothcraft/weaver fabric the way the Blacksmith recipe calls for a steel ingot [as do the other crafting classes glam prism recipes call for similar crafting components that they can make]).

So things are up in the air rn (at least that's how I understand the current situation) but at some point yes you should be able to buy the Archfiend set so my advice for the moment would be to just save up your crystal trophies and only spend them when you're about to go over the 20k cap until this stuff gets sorted.

* And i don't recall any talk of this recipe getting adjusted but the last time i checked it was like 2.x so its been awhile but I'm sure it took a cloth of some sort and not some random botany thing

It's not currently available any way I can find, but I'd be very surprised if it's not rereleased as something you can buy with Trophy Crystals later down the line.

Ya, I got close to doing PVP almost every day of Moogle tomes but missed out as well.

I don't suppose there's ANY chance one of the Devs or someone could respond to this topic?

Would be nice to just get some clarity. After all, if that armor ISN'T coming back in any capacity, better we know now so we aren't getting our hopes up waiting for it or anything.
