Inconsistent capitalization of 6.2 location name

During the MSQ "Shadowed Remnants", The name "Carcere IV" is not capitalized in the duty tracker ("Search for the voidsent at carcere IV") and in the confirmation prompt when coming in from Troia Keep.

I have just noticed this myself as well while playing on June 22, 2024. The capitalization is inconsistent between the confirmation prompt when traveling to the area, the duty tracker, and the name given when targeting the area (prior to getting the confirmation prompt).

"Carcere" just means "jail/gaol". It's not a proper noun, so does not need to be capitalized in the middle of a sentence.

It could still be treated as one, nonetheless. Most people playing this wouldn't know what 'Carcere' even means so they would just assume that it should be a proper noun, and since the game delineates it as a specified location, it arguably should be treated as one.

I'd even go so far as to call this a 'localization failure', given how rarely do we see the root word for 'incarcerated'. The Japanese text probably just called it a 'jail' or 'prison', so it would have been better to just stick with the translated script content and not try to fluff it up with garbage.

I disagree on that aspect. If you just say "the carcere" that's fine, but "Carcere IV" is the specific carcere's name and I would expect it to be treated as a proper noun.

It's like the difference between "the high school" and "Exampleton High School".

That's not a great analogy. "Exampleton High School" is a named high school. If the high schools in an area were simply numbered, it would be fine to common case them: high school I, high school II, high school III, etc.

Cf. page 1, page 2, page 3; step I, step II, step III.

Disagree again, because it's a location. Think 'District 3', 'Ward III', 'Precinct III', 'Region III', etc. When elections role around, specific numbered precincts are often capitalized and treated as proper nouns because they encapsulate a whole area.

Hell there are whole townships and even businesses named after the ward they were recognized to exist in, like Ward III (which is a bar in New York), but that's a stretch.
