Ahh, the nefarious "I'm not gonna tell you anything" report system! Sorry, man. That sucks. My best advice would be to contact support, appeal, and hopefully they might tell you what you did. Best of luck to you.


Problem is you have no way of knowing whether or not this was recent or months ago. Saying you've been warned for harassment does very little to curb behavior if you can't be told exactly where it occurred.

They wont wait months to take action. You can safely assume that whatever actionwas the cause happened in the last week or two.
You just have look closely on your own behaviour those 2 weeks and usually something will stand out.
I speak from experience, i wasnt told either but I am 99% sure it wast the link to a video i posted in shout in diadem.

They never give precise answers as to what you did. This is to protect the person making the complaint against retaliation. Something i am sure some people would do.
Their statement is fairly clear. You got reported for bad language. You may not see it as bad but both the other person and SE think it was bad enough to warrant a warning.

I don't even swear. If I can't even be told what I said maybe I should just take my money somewhere else.

This would certainly explain why dungeon groups are so silent for the most part.

Tbh, you really can't lol. Especially since there were some rather nice cases of people telling stories of harassment - really bad cases of stalking - and SE doesn't take action. Also there are roes saying uh.. rather vulgar stuff in a DC rather recently and not getting banned.

Riot/League just actually gives you the chat logs (censoring people's names out) and just flatout gives you a warning if you're reported right after a game. Don't see why SE can't do the same thing, tbh. If the reporter was going to be omega targeted by the offender, the offender was going to do that regardless of whether or not they were told the specifics as to why they were reported. Leaving a warning on a paying customer without explanation is just bad taste for a lot of people.

Which would seem obvious, but I barely talk to anyone in the game at all. How am I supposed to enjoy playing the game now?

Yea I had something similar a few months back. I can only guess what I said to possible offend anyone because they would not give me any information. Not what I said, not what rule it broke, not anything. I escalated to a specialist and got the same copy pasted response. So it was a pointless affair.

You broke an unnamed rule saying something they won't tell you and you should avoid doing it again in the future. Just mind read or something. Such is life in 2022 where literally anything can be offensive to someone.

So my only option is to cease interacting with the community completely? How is anyone supposed to make friends or meet new people?
