Account warning with almost no information.

I logged in looking forward to the patch after a long day at work, and was greeted with this:

"Your Support Desk query has been answered. To view the reply, access Recent Replies & Notices located under the Support Desk's Information tab." The only "query" I've ever made was in regards to the fishing bots on the moon a couple weeks ago, which everyone knows about.

And the actual message it points me to says I now have a warning on my account for today's date(and I just logged in) with no details on what I did wrong. It's the first time I've gotten a warning of any kind since I started playing last year. I tried their remote chat thing, but the person I got was useless.

How is this even remotely acceptable?

It doesn't even say what you were reported for? Sorry I know this is going to be a very basic question, did you check your e-mail for a more detailed message? If you can, would it be possible to show/type out exactly what it says?

Which would seem obvious, but I barely talk to anyone in the game at all. I honestly have no idea what they are referring to. My last play session all I did was some beast tribe quests and a couple dungeons. If it was something I said, why not just say that with a copy of what it was? This is the most nebulous system I've ever seen for something like this. How am I supposed to enjoy playing the game now?

Ahh, the nefarious "I'm not gonna tell you anything" report system! Sorry, man. That sucks. My best advice would be to contact support, appeal, and hopefully they might tell you what you did. Best of luck to you.

They never give precise answers as to what you did. This is to protect the person making the complaint against retaliation. Something i am sure some people would do.
Their statement is fairly clear. You got reported for bad language. You may not see it as bad but both the other person and SE think it was bad enough to warrant a warning.

Problem is you have no way of knowing whether or not this was recent or months ago. Saying you've been warned for harassment does very little to curb behavior if you can't be told exactly where it occurred.

I don't think your in-game account can be warned for things you say on the forum, can it? I thought at most they just send you to baby jail on the forums.

Speaking as someone who has met the forum police once, it does not affect your in game account. The forum and in game are considered separate entities in terms of temp bans and such on the forum side and I was able to play the game as normal.

They say it can but I haven't heard anyone get that harsh punishment other than banned on the forum.
My ex was banned here but can still play the game.

Might best to contact support or something to figure out why you got this warning. Sucks when this kind of stuff happens. :/

iirc isn't there a warning that you can recieve an account penalty for "bad" tickets?
