At this point it has become apparent to a majority of the FF14 player base that the "New" PVP is unbalance and lacks proper support in a timely manner.

Easily recognizable issues: The paladin cover for capping in Frontline remains untouched after many reports. The issues with delays/inconsistency in guard effect being applied and purify to remove crowd control mechanics while properly apply resilience effect. A lack of diminishing returns on chain CC of a single target. All of these issues drastically diminish the fun for players in PVP.

At this point it is more realistic to ask Square Enix and the Development team as a whole to kindly remove rewards other than titles from PVP for future seasons.

Currently many players are forced to participate in a portion of the game that is mostly a painful experience. Should in the future there be a shift to a more active support of PVP at that time it might be the right decision to reconsider tying non-title rewards to seasons.

I can only speak for myself, but these are major items I would want to see before considering playing PVP voluntarily:
1. Correction of above listed issues
2. Removal of one-shot mechanics in all forms
3. Timely response to balancing issues
4. Proper match making system to allow players some agency over win potential
a. Both sides should have equal tanks, healers, or DPS to not disadvantage one side (Crystaline Conflict)

I am certain others will have thoughts on this proposal, though I would like to stop being forced into PVP to get rewards when the overall PVP experience is painful, does not see timely updates, and has serious balancing problems.
