Pair queues have an even bigger swing in carry potential. Two skilled players communicating is an order of magnitude more powerful than two mediocre players who don't know how to efficiently or effectively communicate, and the matchmaker has very little idea how to tell the two apart. If you want less RNG in your matchmaking, this is not exactly the panacea you're looking for.

Teams are 5 players so you would effectively be forcing 1 person to play with 2 duos deciding how they should play. Doesn't seem like a good idea
