Patch 6.2's 3-star macros are nearly identical to Patch 6.15's 2-star macros

There's really NO SPOILER here! The rotations are basically the same... so there's no new discoveries or inventions at all... Hence, no need to worry about spoilers!

Back in 6.15, my 2-star macro for 35 durab items was:

    /ac "Reflect" <wait.3>
    /ac "Manipulation" <wait.2>
    /ac "Veneration" <wait.2>
    /ac "Waste Not" <wait.2>
    /ac "Preparatory Touch" <wait.3>
    /ac "Groundwork" <wait.3>
    /ac "Groundwork" <wait.3>
    /ac "Final Appraisal" <wait.3>
    /ac "Groundwork" <wait.3>
    /ac "Innovation" <wait.2>
    /ac "Prudent Touch" <wait.3>
    /ac "Manipulation" <wait.2>
    /ac "Prudent Touch" <wait.3>
    /ac "Prudent Touch" <wait.3>
    /echo EW 2* 35dur #1 631cp Done! <se.2>

    /ac "Innovation" <wait.2>
    /ac "Basic Touch" <wait.3>
    /ac "Standard Touch" <wait.3>
    /ac "Advanced Touch" <wait.3>
    /ac "Prudent Touch" <wait.3>
    /ac "Great Strides" <wait.2>
/ac "Tricks of the Trade" <wait.3>
    /ac "Innovation" <wait.2>
    /ac "Byregot's Blessing" <wait.3>
    /ac "Basic Synthesis"
    /echo EW 2* 35dur #2 631cp Complete! <se.6>

Now in 6.2, my 3-star macro for 35 durab items is:

    /ac "Reflect" <wait.3>
    /ac "Manipulation" <wait.2>
    /ac "Veneration" <wait.2>
    /ac "Waste Not" <wait.2>
    /ac "Groundwork" <wait.3>
    /ac "Groundwork" <wait.3>
    /ac "Final Appraisal" <wait.3>
    /ac "Groundwork" <wait.3>
    /ac "Preparatory Touch" <wait.3>
    /ac "Innovation" <wait.2>
    /ac "Prudent Touch" <wait.3>
    /ac "Manipulation" <wait.2>
    /ac "Prudent Touch" <wait.3>
    /ac "Prudent Touch" <wait.3>
    /echo EW 3* 35dur #1 631cp Done! <se.2>

    /ac "Innovation" <wait.2>
    /ac "Basic Touch" <wait.3>
    /ac "Standard Touch" <wait.3>
    /ac "Advanced Touch" <wait.3>
    /ac "Prudent Touch" <wait.3>
    /ac "Great Strides" <wait.2>
/ac "Tricks of the Trade" <wait.3>
    /ac "Innovation" <wait.2>
    /ac "Byregot's Blessing" <wait.3>
    /ac "Basic Synthesis"
    /echo EW 3* 35dur #2 631cp Complete! <se.6>

The 2nd part of the 2-part macros are IDENTICAL. The only difference is that I moved the Prep Touch later so that the 3rd Groundwork gains the Vene buff (which was not needed in Patch 6.15).

Yeah, crafting in ultra-breeze mode huh

In general, we actually DO NOT need the new 35 durab items to be crafted HQ! The macro above seems to be mostly needed just for the Alkahest, since it comes in 3x yield, which saves so much more time than crafting a regular 3* 35 durab item.
So the macro I use most for 35-durab items is actually just:

    /actionerror off
    /ac "Muscle Memory" <wait.3>
    /ac "Manipulation" <wait.3>
    /ac "Veneration" <wait.2>
    /ac "Waste Not" <wait.2>
    /ac "Intensive Synthesis"
    /ac "Groundwork" <wait.3>
    /ac "Intensive Synthesis"
    /ac "Groundwork" <wait.3>
    /echo Done <se.3>
    /actionerror on

We do have new Expert Recipes now though! And they do look like a lot of fun!

The 70 durab items macros are also pretty much the same as in Patch 6.15...

    /ac "Muscle Memory" <wait.3>
    /ac "Manipulation" <wait.2>
    /ac "Veneration" <wait.2>
    /ac "Waste Not II" <wait.2>
    /ac "Groundwork" <wait.3>
    /ac "Groundwork" <wait.3>
    /ac "Final Appraisal" <wait.3>
    /ac "Groundwork" <wait.3>
    /ac "Innovation" <wait.2>
    /ac "Preparatory Touch" <wait.3>
    /ac "Preparatory Touch" <wait.3>
    /ac "Preparatory Touch" <wait.3>
    /ac "Preparatory Touch" <wait.3>
    /echo EW 3* 70dur #1 650cp Done! <se.2>

    /ac Innovation <wait.2>
    /ac "Prudent Touch" <wait.3>
    /ac "Prudent Touch" <wait.3>
    /ac "Prudent Touch" <wait.3>
    /ac "Trained Finesse" <wait.3>
    /ac "Great Strides" <wait.2>
/ac "Tricks of the Trade" <wait.3>
    /ac "Innovation" <wait.2>
    /ac "Byregot's Blessing" <wait.3>
    /ac "Basic Synthesis"
    /echo EW 3* 70dur #2 650cp Complete! <se.6>

All I did was substituted a Careful Syn with a Groundwork on Line #8 of macro part 1.
It increased the CP needed slightly, and also used up 5 more durab than before. So I substituted a Prudent Touch with a Trained Finesse on Line #5 of macro part 2.

That's all the macro changes needed from Patch 6.15 to 6.2...

As for how much quality this gives, and how many HQ mats we need? Please see calculations below:

For me, with my stats above, I needed 3 pieces of HQ mats to make up the 2261 quality needed to guarantee 100% quality (for left gear).

So, I make HQ Alkahests using the 35-durab macro in the first post of this thread above. That takes care of 2 pieces of HQ mat for left gear, and I can randomly add 1 more piece of HQ mats (can be a regular lvl 89 mat, doesn't need to be another piece of 3-star crafted mat).

For right gear (accessories), each HQ Alkahest actually provides MORE quality than each HQ Alkahest used in left gear!!! So apart from the 1 piece of HQ Alkahest, I'll just randomly add 1 more piece of HQ something. That's all.

Honestly, the tad bit of progress increase doesn't add any difficulty at all.
The most important thing is just to get over the 3700 craftsmanship threshold. Many people I know had a tendency to max-meld with control, and they didn't have enough craftsmanship. So in the end, they had to remove Command Materias just to remeld craftsmanship. I didn't have this issue, because most of my gear were only quad-melded (with the 5th materia being a Piety II for spiritbonding purpose only). So I simply pull out the piety and added slightly more craftsmanship.

As for Raid Food, such as Garlean Pizza, there are only 2 mats that can come in HQ, and they are Garlean Cheese and Upland Wheat Flour.
Garlean Pizza uses 2 pieces of Garlean Cheese and 1 piece of Upland Wheat Flour.
Although making HQ Upland Wheat Flour is easier because you can just Trained Eye it, each HQ flour does NOT provide enough quality to ensure HQ product.
So we have to turn to the Garlean Cheese. Each time you craft a Garlean Cheese, it comes in 3 pieces.
And interestingly, all you need is 1 piece of HQ Garlean Cheese to acquire an initial 2290 quality (which is just above the 2261 quality I needed as mentioned above)!
Thus, I highly recommend making some HQ Garlean Cheese, but Quicksyn the rest... and use only 1 piece of HQ Garlean Cheese (and 1 piece of NQ) to make the HQ Garlean Pizza. And just Quicksyn the wheat flour too.

    Garlean Cheese macro:

    /ac "Reflect" <wait.3>
    /ac "Manipulation" <wait.3>
    /ac "Waste Not" <wait.2>
    /ac "Innovation" <wait.2>
    /ac "Preparatory Touch" <wait.3>
    /ac "Preparatory Touch" <wait.3>
    /ac "Preparatory Touch" <wait.3>
    /ac "Great Strides" <wait.2>
    /ac "Byregot's Blessing" <wait.3>
    /ac "Veneration" <wait.2>
    /ac "Groundwork" <wait.3>

    Yes, so not so different.

    My 3900 70 dur 15% HQ macros:

    /ac "Muscle Memory" <wait.3>
    /ac "Manipulation" <wait.2>
    /ac "Veneration" <wait.2>
    /ac "Waste Not II" <wait.2>
    /ac "Groundwork" <wait.3>
    /ac "Delicate Synthesis" <wait.3>
    /ac "Basic Touch" <wait.3>
    /ac "Standard Touch" <wait.3>
    /ac "Advanced Touch" <wait.3>
    /echo "Macro #1 Complete" <se.1>

    /ac "Basic Touch" <wait.3>
    /ac "Standard Touch" <wait.3>
    /ac "Advanced Touch" <wait.3>
    /ac "Great Strides" <wait.2>
    /ac "Innovation" <wait.2>
    /ac "Basic Touch" <wait.3>
    /ac "Great Strides" <wait.2>
    /ac "Byregot's Blessing" <wait.3>
    /ac "Veneration" <wait.2>
    /ac "Groundwork" <wait.3>
    /e Craft Complete <se.9>

For 4300 dur it ends with 15 dur 53 CPs & 86 progress left. A basic synth will finish it. I use dead cheap HQ seafood stew for insurance against a bad condition on BB. Or one can break the macro before BB and check condition.

For 5060 dur I use HQ Mejillones al Ajillo for the craftsmanship. Its gives me 70CPs as well but less insurance as the synth needs two basic synths minimum to complete under veneration. So the only recovery is Innovation > Delicate Syn > Careful Syn.

    My 40 Dur production macro:

    /ac "Reflect" <wait.3>
    /ac "Manipulation" <wait.2>
    /ac "Waste Not" <wait.2>
    /ac "Delicate Synthesis" <wait.3>
    /ac "Delicate Synthesis" <wait.3>
    /ac "Basic Touch" <wait.3>
    /ac "Standard Touch" <wait.3>
    /ac "Advanced Touch" <wait.3>
    /ac "Prudent Touch" <wait.3>
    /ac "Great Strides" <wait.2>
    /ac "Byregot's Blessing" <wait.3>
    /ac Groundwork

Oh ... current stats: Crafts 3612, Cont 3502, 589 CPs. I developed these with somewhat less craftsmanship. I forget how much I added for 6.2.

Edit: I had added 87 crafts at the expense of 1 CP.
