Or is it? Plays watered down, is less popular than the other melee now with its changes. Lost the feel of big swings in favor of wildly flailing a sword about. Mashing that shinten button and all that. Exciting. But hey, at least the wet fart is stinkier now, but only slightly?

Seriously though, job is far from dead. The identity it used to have definitely is dead, but the job itself still is "fine enough", is the best I can put it. However, I choose to remember what it once was, and never touch it again until it gets changed away from this iteration. That being said, SE's response (or lack thereof) is a troubling thing. People may troll samurais about their job's changes (why, I don't even know), but if this is a sign of how SE chooses to approach job balance, then we should be worried about what the future holds. I'm lookin' at you dragoon and astrologian, because you two are next in line for your "improvement".

As for you people who feel the need to mock samurai players, don't look for pity when your slice of fun is up on the chopping block. Because it definitely will happen with the way things are going balance wise.
Never am I going to say the job is bad numerically. That's just factually not true. But the flow has shifted, while slight, it's enough so that most who knew the job well enough notice it and that's where one of my main gripes about the changes are.

Also, I'm still wondering where the heck they take their feedback from because small potency increase is not what we have all been clamoring about. The whole kit feels odd to use, aoe is just an egregious mess, but potency was not the real problem.
