I've only been playing this for half an hour, but I just needed to tell someone that I love this content so, so much!! The music, the title cards, the dialogue, the gameplay! It's amazing and I love it, thank you so, so much for making this for us!

I love it, it's very relaxing; i'm trying to take my time with it because i know this is just supposed to be the introduction, and there's more content to be added to it in the future.

Sometimes I just put on a nice song in the orchestrion, lay down in the bed and use the roaming camera to watch my island. Its quite relaxing.

Finally got back on the game tonight, I must be in a good mood lately, but I find it fairly enjoyable so far, for what it is. Also, I love the Island Explorer boots. The gloves can probably go well with certain themed glams too! Like machinist. Hat doesn't work. I like how they made pants AND shorts available. The minion will be mine, but first thing for me will be the hair.

Juuuust in case you may have missed the warnings, you may not want to jump right into buying the glam/minions/etc right away as those same points are used to expand your island in the next several levels.

I haven't done the math personally, but the cowrie grind could be potentially harder without those first couple of upgrades (which also help you bring in cowries..)

I was kind of hoping I could just dump all my money on the hair, but the initial earnings suck. So I have to take the plunge and dump 500 for the first clearing? I gathered my way to the next level so I have the granary building right now as well.

You can get 2,000/week doing challenge log, and several hundred per day via the workshops.
The panic “oh noes I can’t progress” is only a problem if you are in a rush to get it done.

The 4k I dumped on that minion was certainly not a good investment. There were three 1k expansions just sitting there that could've been claimed instantly, boosting progress. The second half of the challenge log eventually got me one of them.
