    Swap is hands down the worst Ruleset, especially in open tournaments

    Nothing like losing your 4/5 star card for a 1/2 star card and being at a severe disadvantage.

    Not only do you have to pick a completely random set of cards, but you lose the 1 good one you likely have.

    Recommendation: In tournament play, Swap can only swap a card of one tier higher or lower than the one taken.

    Veteran healers don't care if we need to heal, but right now we don't. We want interesting things to do during the downtime other than a 30s dot and a single filler spell that hasn't changed from lvl 4 to lvl 90.
    Dead DPS do no DPS. Raised DPS do 25/50% lower DPS. Do the mechanics and don't stand in bad stuff.
    Other games expect basic competence, FFXIV is pleasantly surprised by it. Other games have toxic elitism. FFXIV has toxic casualism.[/LIST]

    Then the other half of the time you get THEIR good card and should have an easy win. Nah, swap is fine. I enjoy the victory more if i overcame a handicap.

    Swap adds an extra level of difficulty... or advantage. We commonly only recognize when our 4/5-star card is swapped for a 3 or below. When it is the other way, we probably don't remember it.
