Please add aesthetician styles to glamour plates

Please add aesthetician styles to glamour plates. When I'm being a badass killing monsters and watching cutscenes, I need my badass tribal hair that makes the Warrior of Light brand everyone knows and loves. But if I'm attending a wedding in a cute dress, that warrior hair style just doesn't fit. Let me wear that fake pony tail hair piece when I'm in a bikini or let my hair down when I'm having a pajama party at my house. Also let me color coordinate my alts make-up and hair color with her outfits please. Going to an inn or the FC house every single time I wanna switch outfits is just too much of a hassle.

Thats actually a neat idea. It would give more value (at least in my eyes) to having different hairstyles by giving that extra layer in variable customization.

I would love this so much, being able to use long hair on glamours that dont clip, and then short hair for those annoying popped collar glams. The only problem SE might have with this is the 2000 gil it takes to use the aesthetician. 2000 is literally pennies, but pennies nonetheless. Maybe a good compromise for a feature like this would be to apply a medium cost to apply an aesthetician style to a glamour plate? What would be a good price per plate? 5k? 20k? 50k? 100k?

Honestly id be willing to pay any amount of gil to apply styles to plates permanently.

Sure, whenever they decide to revamp the entire glamour system to not be as limited as it is now.

I wish that was the constraint. Unfortunately this ties into the CC, and the aesthetician is a compact keyboard version of an extremely outdated system. The CC and the glamour plate systems don't talk to each other at all, and they are also incompatible in their current forms. Both systems would have to be reworked to accommodate this request. I think the way this works is that your hairstyle is saved to your character's data, and I think it is loaded once when you log into the game (or when you use the aesthetician), while your glamour plates are constantly loaded every time you zone into a new area, or even just entering a sanctuary after the previous updates.

If they could find a way to make this work though, they wouldn't hear any complaints from me. This would truly be a fantastic upgrade to QoL in FFXIV.

This. There's still a number of systems that are effectively hamstrung by spaghetti code from the original development. Each of these two systems has needed improvement for some time now and the thought that they might work well with each other harmoniously is likely still a long way off.

I agree. It would be nice if they could get the two systems to work together somehow and at least expedite the process of changing hair in the meantime.

I think having to pay everytime you change glamours would add up real quick. In social situations I change glamours 3 or 4 times in an hour. Also, if you link the glamour plate to your class and you constantly change classes especially while crafting. Yikes. (Then again, having to change classes 3 times to craft one item could also be changed).

I think you should get charged when you apply the hair and make-up to a plate, similar to how you only use a glamour prism for putting stuff in the dresser. I would think 2000 Gil per plate is fine, especially if you have 20 different plates.

If that doesn't work then at least give us wigs as headpieces
