Is getting Paradigm's every day really much different than getting CT every day outside of not being able to watch Netflix during it? I've been extremely thankful the Moogle tomestone event has finally given me Ivalice in alliance raids.A great big NOPE to this. I don't want to get Paradigm's Breach every single day. Plus this completely negates the purpose of roulettes, which is to keep all content in it active and have players fill in where needed, not just keep the high level stuff active. Unless you mean still keeping it optional and only limited to premade, which is fine.
As to the OP, if your server is accurate, aren't you on a data center that's not even a year old? I can tell you that my experience on Aether with what I get in roulette is nothing like that, but we've been an established data center for a very long time.
Tbh I'd just prefer if the roulette gave a reason to actually queue for 50/60/70/80 (they still need to rename this). Because all you get is 100 poetics and 120 of the weaker tomestone for the patches. You don't get any real experience or anything worth running it for. I don't remember the last time I willingly queued for it simply because the rewards were bad. Add 20 of the stronger tomestone, and buff the experience rewards. Give us a reason to actually run that roulette.
Yes, because the Nier raid bosses are damage sponges and Paradigm's is pretty much a guaranteed 30 to 40 minute run because of it, no matter how good everyone is. Even worse if things go pear-shaped. I don't like getting forever CT as much as the next person, but I think any option that takes away the potential for variety is bad.
Honestly, this is why I just stopped doing roulettes. I know it's not an ideal solution, but these things always cater to the lowest possible thing you can get. Hell, I managed to grab 2 other people and start up a leveling roulette, and the 3 of us (in our 80s) still ended up in copperbell because some newbie was heading in there for the first time, and it just is what it is man. I'd be less bummed about it if I had access to my full kit even after being synced down. Just scale the potency back so that all the buttons are doing basically nothing, I don't care; I just want to practice my rotation and have some fun if I'm gonna be stuck in copperbell ffs I don't even have an aoe at that level. Maybe make it an option! That way everyone who wants to press 1-2 for 12 minutes can do that, too. And before someone mentions the possibility of players expelling genuine newbies for lacking aoe skills or tank invulns or whatever, consider the following: people in this community are so afraid of being reported, that they barely step out of line in dutyfinder content. Just make it a reportable offense to kick someone for being underleveled and most people will simply put up with it quietly, just like I quietly put up with experienced players taking off their gear and forcing me into syrcus tower 11 days in a row yeah I see you there, dude who spawned in naked with 1/10th of his hp, the whole damn party sees you and nobody's even saying anything because the only thing GMs seem to respond to is someone just telling it like it is in party chat.
I digressed a bit, but yeah. These days unless I need exp, I avoid the roulette scene like the plague and just queue the fun stuff directly. If you queue alliance raid roulette and we ever see each other in puppets bunker or orbonne (after the event ends) then yeah, you're welcome. Or sorry.
Also, to respond to the ongoing conversation, I've found that while paradigm tower is always a slog, I've seen bunker and copied factory go pretty smoothly if your team isn't huffing glass the entire time. But that's a pretty big ask of this community, to be fair.

This isn’t a materia problem, materia is a little more susceptible to it because it’s harder to get into say ivalice raids because of the new population but roulette content being massively skewed towards level 50 content is nothing newA great big NOPE to this. Of the big 4 roulettes most people run (trials levelling alliance and MSQ) one always gives level 50, one will give level 50 95% of the time and the other two give level 50 more often than no even on servers will fully established level 90 endgames
Yes Paradigm's is the worse because of the whiteness. I quit every time I get it or I end up nauseous with a headache and have to lie down for a few hours if I stay. SE shouldn't put unhealthy visual roadblocks (P3 is another one). However, I like the Ivalice raids even if they can be a bit long if people don't know what they are doing. The other day I ended up in a group that hit the 50 minutes mark arriving at the Math boss. I had to quit as it was dinner time. I don't expect roulette to take 1+ hour. Anyway, I rarely do roulette and get more than enough tomestones with hunts.
As for what op mentions, you can always practice a job at level on a dummy or with duty support.

Oh wow, I didn't know that other people still had this issue after the patch they did. I do too, that raid genuinely makes me very sick. If I turn on the deuteranopia filter in the game settings I can tolerate it until the end, give it a chance next time you get this raid(it still sucks, though)Yes Paradigm's is the worse because of the whiteness. Roulettes are not the issue IMO. A lot of level 50/60 endgame dungeons are harder than the current experts as it is. It's a mix of the players and the design/ease of the game.
Players who are allowed to get through almost everything except EX and Savage on facemashing won't feel the urge to optimize. They are not expected to get better, the game's not updated to make the person a better player either. It's the opposite, skill ceiling and floors being squished to make up for people's mistakes and mechanics are simplified. Of course, there are just those who are lazy and will never open the action tab to read through, let alone hit a striking dummy. Doesn't help they'll have maybe 8 job abilities at level 30. What is there even to look at? By the time they're 70, let alone 90, they're set in their way of playing.
Can you blame them though? They're the main character (and maybe, not everyone's like this) being carried through 90% of the instanced content with 3 other people who will most of the time coddle them and be like "uwu we were all beginners once, it's okay if you don't AoE a pack of 50 monsters and have learned nothing so basic 100 hours into the game. We're not toxic here like that <333".
Good luck with the friends though!
