Just wondering why most currency caps are so low and I started extrapolating:
How would have I done it? Technically no cap. Let people farm what they want and
spend it when they want. Why didn't they make it so?
Well, artifically created storage scarcity -> fomo -> players buy retainers for storage.
Even without the constant flow breaking mandatory "go to vendor X to burn tokens" inconvenience, there would still be the issue of storage.
Try having all jobs and random leveling gear + buy each category bis tomestone gear
around lvl 50, 60, 70, in advance, etc. so your tomestones and pvp currency wouldn't go to waste from overflowing.
This is so stupid. You are making enough money, can you let us breathe?
We want to play and just farm stuff, without having to constantly put everything else on ice to off load currencies for gear/pvp glams, and then somehow do our entire inventory, force sell/delete stuff, all everything, the whole warehouse of every armory tab, sort by level, do I need this now or later, do I want to keep it as glam, is the ilvl good, for which job, how soon, blaablaablaa... work work work...
I don't know about the core target audience of this game, but call me crazy for thinking I would want to play a game to RELAX, and being a "mmo rpg", like kill monsters and explore dungeons, not play "inventory simulator dance dance revolution" ??
Raise the cap for pvp/tomestones to 100k, let us farm it all we want.
Then when our alt jobs hit the required levels, we can just go to the vendor, buy a full bis gear set, slap it on, delete the old one. Done.
But hey, another drop in the water "too much to ask for, never gonna happen" toss.
