Again why should people deprive themselves of content just because of squares bad game design
Nobody likes the two dungeons in the expert, the two camps are basically
-fix it to include all 90 dungeons
-eh I don’t really care
Nobody is arguing that 2 dungeons in a roulette is good game design so maybe they could fix it rather than just say “how bout you have even less of the very lacklustre level 90 content”

Actually, there have been a few posts here already specifically pointing out why it makes sense and can be beneficial from a design standpoint. It also helps if your posts stop claiming opinions as facts. You aren't an arbiter of what is good, bad, or "lacklustre" (sic).Again why should people deprive themselves of content just because of squares bad game design

The only person I’ve seen explaining how it’s good game design about milking roulette clearers for more level 90 dungeons is a fair enough point but it’s not really beneficial to the player and I’ve yet to see a player argue it’s good design from the player perspectiveActually, there have been a few posts here already specifically pointing out why it makes sense and can be beneficial from a design standpoint. And lacklustre is my opinion, though since we are in the middle of one of the worst content droughts we have ever been in I don’t think that’s an unpopular opinion at all

Absolutely. That's the whole purpose of its storyline.
It works for that moment in the MSQ, perhaps – I still think it feels a bit disjointed having these "new stories" being told at the climax of another – but still, the gloomy mood fits that part of the larger story.
Still, that doesn't mean I want to experience it over and over in a roulette. It feels too heavy for that casual play setting, and is better kept to small doses.
(I have to wonder whether it could have worked better if they skipped having a final MSQ dungeon, proceeded straight to the final trial, and had three sidequest dungeons instead of two.)
That's not a typo, that's the correct spelling for UK English.

FFXIV has one of the most happy stories i know. In that dungeon death and disease as well as things like mercy killings are just said not shown and we don't even have to do anything bad.
Stories that are way more depressing than FFXIV off the top of my head:
1) Games:
- Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor
- Final Fantasy X
- Silent Hill 2
- Persona 3
2) Shows:
- Elfenlied
- Ajin
- Invincible
- American Horror Story (all)
Will put you on ignore if you can't form a logical argument but argue nonetheless
