So... everything has to be happy and smiling for players not to quit? I start to understand the EW writing team...
Will put you on ignore if you can't form a logical argument but argue nonetheless

Why? It's beautiful. Map 1 and 2 are stunning, way better than anything Eorzea offers sightseeing wise imo.
Then again i'm one who sees beauty in collapsed civilizations and destruction. Maybe that is why i love Fallout so much (not 4th)![]()
Remember when Expert Roulette wasn't a coin flip past X.1? Pepperidge Farm remembers.
Not surprising, still disappointing.

By that logic, what's even the point of providing any feedback—something Yoshida has specifically told people to do—when you could boil literally everything down to "If you don't like it. Don't do it/play something else".
It's a pointless cop out to actually fixing a problem.

I haven't been playing for long enough to understand why we don't have a single Dungeons roulette instead of the current Leveling/x0/Expert/… split.I do exactly that. I run most everything BUT expert roulette. That doesn't mean it's well designed, however. A "roulette" shouldn't consist of only 2 dungeons. I felt the same way about MSQ roulette before the changes. Like someone else said, why bother making a roulette for 2 instances?
In the case of the MSQ roulette, I think it's obvious why those instances have been split out from the other roulettes: they're completely out of line with the typical dungeon or trial, with their lengthy, unskippable cutscenes. I want some choice whether I sit through all that, without having to take a penalty.
I can't see how that reasoning applies to Leveling vs. 50/60/70/80 vs. 90 vs. Expert, though. For anything with five dungeons or fewer, I could just select them all by hand if that's the specific content I wanted to run.
