6.2 Patch Notes

A lot of nice changes in the patch that is for sure. I don't understand why though they reduced the appearance of slice is right in the Gold Saucer unless they felt that people were getting MGP too much too quick. The capacity increase for scripts will definitely be nice and those other changes look pretty good of course check out Island Sanctuary and see all all the features that has.

It's more than just removing a flag – they do still need to adjust and check the models. It's still presumably less work than building a new hairstyle from scratch.

Talking of hairstyles, we're finally getting Ardashir's! It's only taken three whole expansion cycles.

Because it's popping a lot while Typhon's GATE is barely spawning.

And his hairstyle along with the other one aren't ones that really speak to either the male or female fantasy - there are enough ponytails in this game so why they decided to add not one but two in the same patch is a mystery. Meanwhile in Lost Ark:

Where? Because I don't see any of them on the list of available hairstyles on FFXIV collect. Far too many gender-neutral haircuts that fundamentally do not meet the expectations or fantasy that either gender wants.

I can't speak for the males because I don't consistently look at their CC options. For females though we don't have hairstyles anywhere near those. The closest to something similar would be #2, which is very similar to Yotsuyu's hairstyle and is not available to players. I would be one happy camper if we had even two of those options.

Highlander females at least do have really similar ones. I just popped onto the aesthetician and these are all very similar to that set from Lost Ark. 1, 3, and 4 of the LA pictures could almost be the same hairstyle too so those look pretty generic and samey to me but manage to look different in XIV.

Seriously, even the "good" hairstyles like Form and Function are ugly and done in a way that I find seriously weird. Why is it so puffy? Same for Both Ways, Early to Rise, etc.

Aren't 4 of those the same hairstyle with different fronts? Lol
