You've picked examples that only prove my point IMO.How so, they can move behind a wall and cast it and map design can heavily favor it along with class comp, I had to fight against a supercharge ast brd drg comp constantly feeding it limit break meter to where we had to choose whether to completely give up a fight or deal with either getting launched or getting hit by a thor/pantheon dive on cloud 9. Nvm it only taking 3 seconds for them to slam down with full force leaving little time to react along with them getting the safety net of a 25 percent max health barrier on impact along with an easy landing of horrid roar so there is no risk to it unless they dived 1v5.
It's too subtle and if paired with an ast supercharging it's damage and meter charge or the 3 unavoidable guard break ultimates it's a very hard ultimate to counter. It's hard enough to fight it alone and the drg has a good pilot, it's weaknesses also get mitigated if class comp or its cloud 9s turn in the rotation that make it a dice roll on how easy or difficult/impossible to counter it is.
The LB warning is the very slow blue ring drifting towards your team that can be outrun, and the partylist showing that the DRG just used their LB. If their team chains you into it, that's called teamwork, but you have Guard. If you can't use your eyes to briefly check their LB status or see if there's a walking speed ring moving towards you, that's not on the DRG, that's on you.

How so, elaborate because being forced by map design and class comp forcing situations that force you to eat a 30k to 44k hit and nothing can be done about it other then completely giving up a fight or hoping they dont take advantage of the fact a drg with one ability forced 2 or 3 recuperates. Ast can't supercharge limit break meter anymore but that doesn't detract that unless there was a draft phase your team had the chance of going against a moba wombo combo team with no real answers to it. And with all the spell effects being tossed around, a subtle little blue circle isn't the best clarity when fighting. If it had the sound cues from overwatch or the flaming wings from pve drg lvl 3 it would be much better to see it on activation which would lead to better counterplay.
Look, I don't mind if sprouts give their input in a respectable manner but not when they're being sarcastic. Eyeballs are OP? Yeah try using them before you say something so obvious. Homeboy over here is explaining to people how to make instant ramen but they were asking for ramen made from scratch. Thats basic stuff, sprout. Nobody cares. The LB warning is the very slow blue ring drifting towards your team that can be outrun, and the partylist showing that the DRG just used their LB. For clarity's sake, a orange-red colour would be swell.
The amount of times I had both my own dragoon and theirs going for it and me not knowing who is who is a bit too high for my taste.
Nah that would make it too obvious. Like how much more counterplay does the job need lmao
Sorry that a class with no lockdown and an easy to counter LB is giving you such a struggle, I'll be praying for you.Look, I don't mind if sprouts give their input in a respectable manner but not when they're being sarcastic. If changing the color of DRG's LB makes it that much more obvious, then IMO this isn't an "unnecessary counterplay" problem. This is a visual clutter problem. Because it's already supposed to be obvious and the only time it isn't is when similar-colored spells are going off at the same time.
I'm all for changing DRG's LB color changing depending if it's on your team or not. It gets a little tedious having to check the party list to see which DRG popped their ult first.
Been seeing a lot more SMN lately and seeing 2 blue Bahamuts nuking the point or the areas around has become pretty common. Why isn't the enemy Bahamut red? Why is such basic shit beyond the ken of the PvP team?
