Oh I get it now. There are a lot of people on these forums that just hang out to accuse people who criticize parts of the game they don't like of being babies or "virtue signaling" while they are doing this to whine about those people and signal their virtue to their fellow reactionaries.

The fact is that no one ever complained about this before you, that is fact, you seem to be the only one who has their feeling hurt by this.

I'm quick to call out the "white knights" myself, especially lately, but I'm not really seeing any of that going on here. What I am seeing, however, is opinions. Some are agreeing with you, at least to a point, others not so much. Welcome to posting on a public forum.

There are several moments throughout the MSQ where I question the morality of our choices, the namesless mooks we could have spared and the nature of the NPCs we travel with. I wonder if we or the Scions should have taken a stricter approach to standing up for our morals and against oppressive systems that the game seems to like to ignore for sake of flavor (Looking at you, the capitalist cesspool that is Ul'dah...)

That scene however was not one of them. No where in the story is Eulmore or its Bond system shown to be good or positive. If anyone is being belittled it is us, the WoL, and that happens fairly often.
