Will past emotes tied to merchandise ever be sold again?

Two of the best emotes in the game, IMO, are the Omega and the Shiva emotes. Both were sold with really cool statues that are no longer sold.

Will these emotes ever get put into the store so we can just buy them? They're both so cool and it's a shame the only way to get them is buying the statue from a reseller $200+ and hoping the code wasn't used.

Are there other emotes like this that people would like to see be purchase-able?

The question is that will the people who bought said item for said emotes complain that their purchase is cheapened if SE releases them at a fraction of the price. Is it justified since there is no figure tied to it? Do they have a point that rare items should be rare?

As far as I know they never said it was a limited run (well, at least for Shiva as the company who makes them still says another batch is coming...in 2021, lol). Plus you were buying a statue and got a bonus emote with it.

Seems fine to me but honestly, people will always be upset no matter what you do.

(Though, to be honest, I wouldn't mind buying some FFXIV statues even without emotes...)

The emotes were never sold.
The statues were, and they came with a bonus code.

They can't sell the emotes again if they never did in the first place!

I think it falls into the same category as collector's edition items. Anything tied to a product like that generally can't / won't be resold on its own.

I bought the Shiva statue for the Shiva statue, the emote was a nice bonus(that I don't use that much). If SE decides to sell it as a stand-alone emote on the mogstation, I honestly wouldn't care.

It was also so atrociously handled for anyone who even qualified. There was no real telling if you got it or not.
I ended up with $50 worth of pizza because they wouldn't show any confirmation of the promo being added sometimes.
