Hear me out:

With the huge influx of new players to the game, the one thing that isn't discussed or taught anywhere in the game, is the Limit Break. New players have no idea it even exists until they ask about the Limit Break Bar. It's under the general tab, where most new players don't think to look for damaging abilities, etc.

More importantly, new players have no idea when to actually use the Limit Break, and the only way they learn? Is usually by being yelled at for using it inappropriately. We were doing the Nier raids, and we had a bard who kept using LB3 instead of the melee, or instead of saving it for the healers during a rough phase. He got angry and yelled at us for 'just sitting on the limit break.'

This brings me to the actual meat of the matter: It shouldn't matter who uses the limit break, but it DOES. Melee does vastly more damage by using the LB than ranged or magical DPS do.

Solution:

Give every DPS class two LB's: One that is single target, and orange - which looks how it looks now, and that single target LB deals the SAME amount of damage for everyone, regardless of their class.

The other LB should look exactly the same, but make the button blue: This one should be an AoE LB. Again, it deals the same amount of damage, regardless of which class actually uses it.

My last suggestion is this:

Upon unlocking your first dungeon, you are given a limit break tutorial, teaching new players how and when to utilize the limit break appropriately.

Upon reaching dungeons which give you the LB3 option, you should get yet another LB tutorial that teaches healers and tanks about situations where they might have to use the LB3, and what their LB3 actually does.

It's getting really frustrating seeing new players completely botch LB: But it's even more frustrating that only a couple of melee DPS really get to use it: And if anyone else tries to use it, they get everyone else upset at them. It feels bad and I think it needs to change. Thanks for reading.
