That is where that "kind of" came in. You have LS's and Free Company to work together and get end game gear. Most of the time PUG's look for experienced players to make sure to get the job done. Most PUG's don't like holding people's hands. I know I don't.
Its called helping others, alot of people like to help others outside of thier linkshell from time to time, I know I do even if it is wipe after wipe.
Also if SE added this item level 1st linkshell rules would be item level xx only so no one would beable to get into an experianced group.
I'm perfectly happy taking in say 1-3 newbie players in, as long as they understand whats being said to them all is good, everyone makes mistakes but as long as they learn from them within a couple of runs everything is good.
Just remember you were a newbie to the content once, so if someone else is don't treat them like they don't deserve to join you.
Then that is you. It is very common in MMO's that groups want experienced players. If you want to make a PUG with the benefit of helping others, good for you. At the same time, there are people who want experienced players and not ones who will hold them back in the benefit of better chances of success. That is us. Nothing in my statements said that inexperienced should be left out of groups. If you want to teach people, go ahead. Its called helping others, alot of people like to help others outside of thier linkshell from time to time, I know I do even if it is wipe after wipe.

The point I made before you decided to take it into a different direction is that how "elitist" like players look at people when they invite them. Based off experience and gear, not simply by their job.
Of course your posts don't sound like that at all do theyThen that is you. It is very common in MMO's that groups want experienced players. This shows you want to help people all the time.I remember in WoW whenever I responded to a PUG Raid, I would be asked ilvl(Item level), Achievement(Proof I have experience in the dungeon), and what class I was (So the group would be diverse and less competition for class specific gear.). I "kind of" hope that is the state of mind people go into.
And then there is this:
What about the people who struggle to find a LS because they are new they don't have experiance of endgame and all they can do to get even some experiance of endgame is PUGs that mean they aren't entitled to get anything?
You would be surprised how many LS applications ask "what noteworthy gear do you have" ie gear from endgame, "how much endgame experiance do you have?"
Maybe I am just not smart enough, but I don't understand at all where you are attempting to get at here. I don't care about helping people outside my LS. If "I" make a PUG, they will be experienced players. If I am the inexperienced one, I will join with other inexperienced players till I am good enough. I am in a end game shell however, so I will probably rarely PUG.
Tough noogies then? Go find a LS. Can't tell me out of the several LS's out there he can't find one that caters to his gameplay style. What about the people who struggle to find a LS because they are new they don't have experiance of endgame and all they can do to get even some experiance of endgame is PUGs that mean they aren't entitled to get anything?
Yep, I know I do.You would be surprised how many LS applications ask "what noteworthy gear do you have" ie gear from endgame, "how much endgame experiance do you have?"
I love how the polls pretty much confirmed that the loud out spoken forum population is an extremely small percentage of the people who actually play. ^___^
I think most people knew this.
But lol at gathering/crafting being too hard. You can literally get 5000sp a synth on crafting during grinding, and 15k each DoL leve.
