    Crafting stations upgrade

I think their are a few things wrong with the crafting stations and these are my suggestions to fix them:

    1) Stations only seem to give a CP bonus, adjust it so gatherers also get GP when using them!

    2) There are too many different stations, change this in a system like the dummies only with less steps in between. Dummies are made for every 10 levels. I think we need a crafting station with different effects for every 30 levels so the benefit is still noticeable.

    3) If you activate a station and activate another one, previous effect would be replaced with the new effect. When you click on the item it should show the level of the furniture so people don't have to activate it first to figure out the effects.

    4) Below are my suggestions for furniture:

    Furniture 1: lvl 1-30 // +10 CP/GP
    Furniture 2: lvl 31-60 // +15 CP/GP +5 control +5 perception +5 craft +5 gather
    Furniture 3: lvl 61-90 // +20 CP/GP +10 control +10 perception +10 craft +10 gather

So as you can see, less stations "but" enhanced benefits over time meaning you always keep your edge no matter which level you are.

SE could also use the furniture we have now but add seperate stations for gatherers & turn them into tier 1 so they can add a tier version of each with improved benefits. But thats entirely based on what they can do or what they may have planned.

The buff from the crafting stations only works while you are inside the house/apartment/FC where the station is.
So, to make it work for GP you'd need a completely different system and I'm not sure I'd want them to put time and money into that when there are bigger issues, like the limited supply of actual houses.

The stations are also used as furniture by a lot of people so replacing them with a more generic furnishing would probably not go down well. Although if you meant keep the existing models and just make them all give a general CP buff, I'm all for it.
It's a shame people with smaller houses or apartments are penalised because they are not allowed all of them.

With Crafting as easy as it is, I don't think you need the buff for the higher levels and introducing one would probably upset people who have levelled CUL or ALC because they'd suddenly find their food/potions are redundant.

The furniture is a nice thing to help low level crafters who are smart enough to be in a FC with them placed.

Course it's been the same tiny buff for years... so maybe there should be slightly upgraded versions of it. I don't think it would take much changes in art either... honestly I'd be fine if it was simply a name change, beginner, intermediate, and advanced.

Yeah and the fact it disappear when you leave the house makes them almost useless. I know when I was leveling crafters, before collectables was a thing - was sitting next or close to a MB.

Its easy for us old skool players yes, but not for beginners. I don't see the use of having buff furniture if the effects become obsolete pretty fast. Lets be honest here... every year 10 levels are added so where lvl 20 was considered NEWB at the start... lvl 50 is now considered the new NEWB limit. So I don't see why we should help noobs back then and leave them to their fate today. I doubt SE has given up on loyal subscribers so I know that if they'll take it into consideration. I know SE is a company that truly cares for its playerbase and while this message may be overlooked by them "or" considered "not required". At the very least I know they'll give it a pause to think it through ♥

Forcing buffs to a couple housing furniture isn't the way to go about it though. Better boost quest exp or something like that if you were afraid that leveling is taking a long time for a new crafter (I disagree but whatever).
I agree with Solarra, crafting is among if not the easiest class to level up nowadays. You have access to firmament, leves, and dailies. You hit Lv50+ in a heartbeat (or 70 if you go to firmament)

Old skool is the retro way of saying old School in case you didn't know

If forcing buffs to furniture was wrong then SE made the mistake before, not me xD
I think the point is to persuade crafters to try it since success feels a lot better then failiure. I've met a LOT of people who gave up on something simply cuss they couldn't succeed on the first try.
So yes I think SE thought this through very well. I'm only hoping they'll do something with it seeing as its much outdated at this point.

Remember that this game is huge and it takes a while before you know about it all... heck it took me longer then a year to find out about the leves just cuss I kept getting distracted with the story, quests and other content.
So I can imagine more players just like me "ignore" crafting for a long time simply cuss they think its too slow, too gil consuming and too hard. Some people simply do it manual cuss they lack the information they need which isn't always easy to find.

So I think both types of players (knowing & ignorant) should have some type of support. For me it for example took me getting level 80 on my crafter before I learned of the leves... I leveled manually and spent a LOT of gil since gathering was to slow for me... so I bought the materials and started crafting

    No, this is a revelation to me! I've lived under a rock past 35 years : p P p P p

    cringe and sarcasm aside.

The furniture had its place, back in 2013 when the level cap was 50. I think they should have made adjustments to it by SB but alas.

Crafting is pretty easy now, I don't think it needs any further buffs.
I've started leveling crafters on Midgardsormer, and the Road to 80 makes it ridiculously fast - 0 to level 20 in 15 minutes, without any food or buffs, for example.
