    Insanely low drops on TT Cards in dungeons/trials

    Is there really a point to have a card drop at a rate of 2% or less? I've been running Memoria Misera EX like crazy for the last week to no avail, and there are other trials/dungeons that pull this same stupidity. What is being gained by having the drop rates so low without having an alternate method for getting the card?

    Seems like the only thing that Squeenix is accomplishing here is making people frustrated and angry.

    I think everyone that pursues the 312 card achievement for the Magicked Card runs into one card seems to have a 0% drop rate. For me, it was Emerald Weapon. I ran it about 52 times before it dropped.

    As far as cards having alternative acquisition methods... this already exists. Not for your card in question though. For example, when 24-man raids come out, the card isn't available on an NPC for 1-2 expansions after that raid came out. This is true with many (but not all) cards. Eureka cards became available on NPCs as long as you completed the content already.

    I'd expect that we might see the Memoria Misera card show up on an NPC in 1-2 expansions from now. Personally, I'd like to see any card acquired from a trial simply cost 5-10 extreme tokens to obtain. The same goes for content like 24-man. Let me trade in the weekly token for the TT card or something.

    We farmed that card for weeks in my fc. Drop did seem really really low, so I can relate. Hopefully they add an alternate method soon.

    While i just gather cards for the lore etc, the drops are just odd.... some cards ive never gotten despite 100+ kills, others i didnt get for ages only to suddenly get em every other kill... its weird...

    Just a guess.. this is not a fun answer but; They probably keep it low for replayability. Just like people revisit old content for glams; its the same for cards. Its there to keep people flowing into content whether old, somewhat aged, or current. TT is for sure part of endgame.

    Not really though, there is a light at the end of the tunnel for mount farming, 99 totems for the mount. Whereas cards, have nowhere to purchase, you have no choice but to keep grinding on RNG

    If it wasnt for rare drops , no one would run these trials anymore at all, just look a the old savage raids, no one does 1-3,5-7,9-11 because they drop no mount or cards.

    If it's too low it has no replayability because very few people bother doing it. Life is too short to spam hundreds of trials and dungeons for a single mount and cards in a mini-game.

    This was also why they had to significantly buff the droprate of cards from NPC's. Even though it theoretically kept players occupied by playing the same NPC hundreds of times, it's only a mini-game and no one was bothered wasting that much time on it, so it occupied them for 0 hours instead.

    By finding a middle ground, they'd get much better content value.
