    I'm still having an issue. Tried everything I can think of. Rebooting my PC, toggling Steam beta opt in off/on, looking for an ECT folder I can't find, even rebooting my modem. Error does not resolve.

    Edit: Even if this is a Steam issue it's still a SQEX issue because SQEX forced players to link their accounts to Steam. If there was a fee to migrate my account off Steam I would pay it. This is ridiculous.

    Usually when you contact square enix they will say it is a Steam Issue, but when you contact Steam they say its a game issue and to contact SE.

    I play since beta 3 and only faced this problem after the steam integration thing, so could be Steam and could be SE with a game foundation from 2010.
