    Are you a steam user? I am having the same issue but from what I understand about the last time it happened, it is a steam issue.

    I m having the same issue, yes I play through Steam, last time this happened was because of the Steam sale and even Steam itself was lagging back then. But now, Steam loads fine for me. I hope whatever this time is causing this issue to be resolved quickly...

    ok i have checked by logging in at 10;45 am on sunday 8/14/22 east coast time. so far systen is working fine.

    Same issue here as well. I suppose if buying the game on Steam is my greatest regret in life, then life really isn't so bad... but I'd still gladly pay to convert the account to non-Steam.
