Alts. How many do you have and what do you do with them?

I've noticed over the years people mention their alts and whatnot and sometimes people say they have like 3+ alts and I'm just curious what people do with them.

I've had my Renalt since before Heavensward and I've still not done everything on that one character. Granted lately I just mess around in Balmung Shout Chat these days but there is just a LOT to do.

Never made a single alt, it's pointless since your character can have all the jobs.

Even when a character can have all the jobs, sometimes you either want to experience the story again on a new character, or level classes *differently*, or see how far you can get on the road-to-## buff, etc etc.

Personally, I make alts a lot just to relevel and experience certain things again, but differently. It's fun, and every one of my alts has a different backstory.

I just noticed that if our characters kissed...I would have two pointy horns aimed perfectly at my jugulars.

People have called me that name so much you'd think I should make a character based off his model.

i have 4 alts i got my main a midlander i got alt #1 an aura alt #2 a highlander alt #3 another midlander alt #4 a viera all females

what do i do with them? whatever i want, i might do the main story, or run POTD i might go fishing or crafting or whatever i feel like

why have alts you ask when your main can be every job? simple, variety its the spice of life why buy a fantasia every time i wanna play a different race when i can just roll an alt and play a different race for free (i've been wanting to make a femroe for awhile now but i just dont like the way they run)

None. I don't ever want to experience ARR again and i'm not paying to skip it.

I have five characters each maining one or two jobs as I don't like doing everything on a single character. Each one was created with role play in mind hence each one fits a particular play style.
