Mandatory Navel Hardmode in MSQ

Greetings developers ; At behest of entire gaming community would like to request permanent removal of mandatory Navel Hardmode in main story questline at Heavensward final chapter since players are spending very often more than hour in queue in order to complete the trial in order to move forward with main storyline ......
This is unacceptable considering it's past expansion trial completely not related to Heavensward and players at level 60 cannot solo it either since it's level 50 hardmode ......
Please modify the questline so the Titan falls off the platform with carbuncle on it's back and shatters into rubble ;

I agree that this is a dumb requirement. It should be changed to a solo instance.

Hi, you posted this in the Localization forum, which is for errors in text, speech, and language. Since your issue is about the requirements for completing the quest and not about the quest dialog, you're probably looking for Forum: Quests or Forum: General Discussion.

You know that, and I know that. But do you know how many Joe Q. Publics out there look at statements like this and really, truly believe that "the entire gaming community" wants this one thing?

It's important to pick and choose your words when your audience includes people that will take your hyperbole as fact when you say "no one wants this thing," or "everyone says that this should be this way." And saying anything anywhere in public (read: on the Internet) includes people similar to those I have just described. That's how people end up believing in flat Earths and Bigfoot and metal tracking devices in vaccines -- because they read or hear that "everyone knows" science lies to you.

And when some people say "everyone wants" this or that... some people have such a narrow scope of vision as to assume that if they want thing X, and they saw a Reddit thread with 2k upvotes supporting thing X, then "EVERYONE" wants thing X. Take a look at real life... it's rife with this garbage.

You know obvious hyperbole, I know obvious hyperbole. The next person in line may not understand hyperbole. That's why I virtually never say things (in my personal or professional life) like, "everyone agrees," or "everyone wants," or "everyone thinks." Those are straight up weasel words that mean nothing, yet falsely conjure ideas of there being some big group in support of my personal cause.

There's also no need to tell some other random person to "calm down"; that's pretty patronizing, as if the person complaining has lost their grip and you're cool as a cucumber. It's nothing but condescension at its best.

Anyway, yeah, I'm with OP, ditch the thing. I'm also a fan of being real and saying we now have three or four people in favor of this... not "everyone". Not even a significant group.
