I've had a lot of internal back and forth in my own head about to think of dawn breaking out over the skies of the Void, as depicted in this still of the trailer:
I fundamentally believe that "fixing" this game's rough equivalent of Hell/demonic realm would take away a fundamental part of its lore and damage the state of its universe further. However, if the trade off for that is getting a new kingdom to visit and journey through, then I am willing to accept that. The alternative places to visit in the Source have either not been described in sufficient detail to interest me enough to visit them, or wouldn't contribute to the high fantasy elements that this game could use some more of.
By all means, light up the Void, send us spiralling back through time, or work some other miracle to get us off the Source. If we cannot get an expansion to reground the plot in the territories of Ilsabard or a Meracydia that is more than just a fantasy depiction of Australia, then send me off to Troia, to Baron, to anywhere else where I can find the magic that this game had back in Heavensward and Shadowbringers.
