I think Stormpeaks is talking about moving fireworks under the ambience sound slider, not that the ambient sound of fireworks hurts Raoabolic's ears. (⌒∇⌒; )ゞ

Am aware, still think it's funny and ironic though to give someone lip for anything hurting them bad when this thread was literally made because OP can't deal with fireworks noises/ignore them like everyone else does lol. I spent 8+ hours in the game yesterday and maybe heard them three times..?

Maybe it's cause I don't stand around in afk hubs all day and play the game but it's pretty easy to avoid them/tune them out.

No no no, I just turn the SFX down. :^)
Besides, I don't think it's a crime to ask for fluff items for issues that can be fixed in game. Though I would prefer if the devs/SE just shut down the forums since it's clear that they don't really care what happens here and the devs will do their "balancing" act with our without input from the playerbase. Though I would say if you want your awfully niche toggle then ask for them to slap it in the mogshop, the modern playerbase and devs will be more inviting to the idea that way. lol

Just making the fireworks ambience instead of normal sound effects would be a very easy solution, they should be under ambience anyway in the first place, not even a need for a toggle, but it's also an option
