So your solution is to come in and throw a tantrum and derail a suggestion thread because you don't want someone else to be able so suggest a quality of life fix? I'm not following the line of reasoning here.
You're not a developer, people suggest changes they'd like to see all the time and the developers don't do it if it's not possible, they don't need you to decide what is and isn't possible before they look at it.

It is a solution and also provides an immersive experience - i.e just /doze into bed until 6AM Eorzean Time.

I think that's rather gameplay enhancing to fully able to enjoy the world they've created and built. Better yet, enjoy it with the perfectly fine housing system to really immerse yourself with feeling at home.
