Suggestion: Please let us change city-state affiliation

It bothers me so much every time I check my character profile and I see the yellow twin adders of Gridania taunting me. I hate that place so much. Bunch of xenophobic tree-huggers.

I don't even care if any dialogue changes. Force me to go to sleep at an inn and "dream" about going through the first 15 levels for the new city-state I want to join. Make me pay actual money for it on the mogstation. Whatever solution you want, just let me change it. I am begging you. I beseech thee. /grovel

I know it doesn't really matter, it isn't mentioned more than a handful of times throughout the game, no one else can see it, but still. I would grind Praetorium 100 times if it meant I could change it. In my ignorance I assumed it would change along with selecting a Grand Company but alas, it does not. Why would you do this to me, Yoshi-P? What have I done to deserve such devastation?
A quick google search shows that people have been asking for this to be possible for at least 7+ years, so here's asking again, hoping that eventually they'll get someone to put 2-3 hours into just swapping some .png files around and tweaking some text files to make it possible.

Might be nice, but lorewise, it's not like the other two cities are much better. One is corrupt capitalists who created the whole "beast tribe" moniker to marginalize the tribes and the other are manifest destiny pirates who forced two indigenous non-human races out of their homes.
