I just started lvlin Warrior Tank, so i played thru all the ARR Dungeons.
It was interestin cause i also wanted to see the changes Square made to those Dungeons, and i was interested to feel the difference between WAR and PLD.
Im PLD, and always hated WAR but its nice to try from time to time.
So in the end i played most dungeons at least twice (PLD and WAR).
Because i needed time to check maps and surroundin and stuffs, i did it with Duty Support NPCs.
1. It feels like more XP.
Lvl progression is indeed faster.
From my personal pov, its mucho grande faster.
But as Deveryn said, the curve has been changed so its a bit more complex.
2. It feels easyer, if not much easyer.
The damage income is low, the Bosses are easyer.
There are less mobs...? Well it feels like it o.O
(should check that online...okay, its complicated)

3. Duty Support NPCs feel easyer and smarter than Squad NPCs.
U dont have to tell them anythin, they just work out of the box.
I wouldnt W2W pull the fk out of the Dungeon, but its not thaaaat slow.
Tough that may change if u play Heals etc.
I remember only 2 times NPCs were killed.
One time the heals for whatever reason, but it was at the end of the fight so no problem at all.
And one DD, i cant remember what the problem was but id assume it was due to AoE irritation whatever.
So no problem until lvl 50.
In the end i was a bit torn between "mhmpf, too easy" and "Wow twinks jumpscare lvl 50 now".
But each to their own i guess.

One thing i rly dont like at all is that they've made it so we get XP per Bosses.
BUT still theres the 10 minute kick thing runnin.
So if u run with NPCs and u have smthn to do inbetween, u still have to watch the counter.
I tend to forget time, so i dislike it.
