Gee, full of ourselves are we? You post your opinion, I'm allowed to post a reply. That's how it goes.
Opinions are fine, but people are going to counter it when you're wrong. RPR is weird and absolutely needs some changes made to it, just like BRD needs changes to it (its LB is completely meh), but RPR is fully capable of competing even if its relatively weak. You just have to play it right and utilize its strengths which is its shield and its insanely fast LB build up.Im allowed to have an opinion and could care less about yours. Nobody held a gun to your head and said you have to read or comment on my post. If I trigger you that badly its simple...ignore it just like the devs do english forums lol. PS -in regards to cruising.... i dont believe you to be brutally honest.

How would you feel if someone said your opinion was complaining? Didnt know asking for parity was a bad thing and to be fair i didnt even mention reaper until someone else did. SE wants people to like their pvp so badly then we give feedback and everyone white knights into oblivion. Just dont be mad when we say screw pvp and it goes back to being dead like before.

To everyone, whether you believe it not Reddit, discord, in game, etc (ive asked around alot TRUST me) all say differently about reaper and various other issues surrounding PVP. I only made this post to highlight that the dev team believes it is nearly fine in its current state based on their season 2 data which is baffling to me. The ONLY people saying its "just fine" is official forums. This post was NOT about reaper please re-read the original statements as i only mentioned rpr once someone else did and the moment i did the knights came out in full attack mode. No point in continuing the discussion...starting to understand why this place has the reputation that it has. SE can do no wrong here and god forbid you have a difference in opinion.

If they buff BRD other then making repelling shot usable at all times, it'll become broken quickly on frontlines.Opinions are fine, but people are going to counter it when you're wrong. People don't seem to get what BRD does, it's not a dps like machinist, it's a job that sets up kills or wins on objectives, if you understand this and play around this strategy, your LB is insanely powerfull right now.
Being able to see allied LB meters of your party is about the only other buff this job needs for frontlines.
This is why having CC and frontlines use same skillsets was a huge mistake, they never should have changed the frontline ones, they weren't perfect at all before, but they were a lot better then what we have now, which is balanced around 5v5's.

So instead we should have separate skillsets for frontline and CC? And how would this be any better by having to learn essentially two different games and playstyles? If anything, this just screams unintuitive - if I was a new player wanting to learn PvP, I'd find it incredibly dumb to learn two different systems for two different modes.
Frontline has problems, that much is true - but to blame the kits in a vacuum and not in conjunction with inherent flaws of FL map / gamemode design feels shortsighted.
It has not even been a major patch and Rival Wings has also yet to return, you are expecting a perfectly balanced PvP system after replacing a stagnating old one that struggled to get fresh blood into small-scale PvP after four months - that's kinda unhinged if you ask me.
I don't necessarily want a buff to bard. I just want the LB to be changed to be something more useful....or even useable at all. The majority of my matches I'm lucky if I even get LB even once. It just takes too long to charge and while its "ok" as a personal LB, you kinda have to hold onto it to benefit your team, especially if a few people have LB's up and it being completely reliant on LoS makes it just a pretty annoying and kinda terrible LB. Even the "bad" LB's on other jobs have a pretty big impact on the play of the match. BRD's LB has for the most part and extremely small impact. If they buff BRD other then making repelling shot usable at all times, it'll become broken quickly on frontlines.

Any buffs to BRD really wouldn't make them broken given how mediocre they are right now in CC (I could care less about frontlines balance) and how they are basically completely reliant on the team. BRD to me is the most fun to play in CC, but my impact on a match is pretty small. Its 100% not a carry job lol. I can burst people during silence decently, but if people are ignoring my marks then my silence burst phase is meaningless.
Also, BRD is pretty easy to deal with in frontlines, so I'm not sure why you think any changes to them would make them broken in frontlines. I usually have 0-1 deaths in frontlines because I know when to run away, but I ain't sitting there in the crowd like a ninja can lol. If I get jumped by the zerg I'm done.

If I may give my own two cents on the LB - it simply isn't fun or engaging to use. Yes it is awesome to give potentially your whole team some extra damage and a ton of free LB gauge, but it simply lacks the oomph of other job LBs, Scholar is borderline in a similar spot with this.I don't necessarily want a buff to bard.
