    Gonna add a "me too". My primary account (non-Steam) works just fine though.

    Thanks for forcing Steam authentication on us SE (and no it's not a requirement of Steam, they make it available for use, but it's not required by them).

    Just adding to the choir, have same issue. Steam gave me some error message when I logged on to Steam so guess it's connected to this issue.

    yeah, my steam started in offline mode today, then when I asked it to switch to online it bugged, so I restarted PC... but then since that this is happening...
